Rebecca Theodore: Good afternoon Ms. Williams and thank you for taking the time to sit with Ocean News Network for this interview. We understand that you are the CEO of Perfect Pitches by Precious and you are qualified to help clients solve their pitching, presentation, and communication challenges. Tell us Ms. Williams, what inspired you to embark on this venture?
Precious Williams: [translated] Despite getting so far in my career, I still credit my life of abuse at the hands of my mother for much of my success. I am eternally grateful to my grandmother who saw the potential in me and nurtured me into the woman I am today. I feel obliged to continue in the position of world-class master communicator and represent the success of women entrepreneurs everywhere.
Rebecca Theodore: You have been Nicknamed the “Killer Pitch Master,”. You are a master of the spoken and written words and is a 13-time national elevator pitch champion. You are also a former lawyer, and has been featured on top television shows and publications for your pitching and branding skills. You were featured in ABC’s “Shark Tank,” CNN, MSNBC, andWall Street Journal. How long have you been doing this and what inspired you to leave your former position as a leading attorney to help women achieve their potential is public speaking?
Precious Williams: [translated] I am a graduate of Spellman college and Rutgers Law School, yet I am compelled to follow my life calling. I have been doing this for 24 years. The philosophy of my killer pitch is evident in the strategic and personalized creative communications and presentations I put out. As a serial entrepreneur, international professional speaker and coach, I am bringing life, authenticity, strategy and boldness to all oral and written communication needs. I help women entrepreneurs perfect their pitch and also increase their sales with the perfect pitch.
Rebecca Theodore: I am happy you mentioned the words boldness and authenticity. These are words that are loaded with abstraction, how are you able to incorporate boldness and authenticity into public speaking?
Precious Williams: Well, I think there are two really important levels of significance. First, my first rule is fortune favors the brave and always ask for what you want. I am a successful woman entrepreneur who is ready to go big, ready to play with heavy hitters, ready for explosive sales and name recognition, for this reason I must be bold and authentic in what I do and show women how to be bold as well.
Rebecca Theodore: I don’t believe it is fair for a professional woman of your caliber to say you are ready. You are more than ready. You are the real deal and I congratulate you for this level of boldness and the way you are taking it to women globally.
Precious Williams: Yeah. Well, Thank you —-
Rebecca Theodore: And let me just inform our readers that they can learn more about this remarkable woman by going to perfectpitchesbyprecious.com. Ms. Williams, you must have learnt many interesting things on this outstanding journey. Can you tell us one of the few things you have learnt?
Precious Williams: Yeah. Well, I mean— There are so many things I would like to mention. According to my testimonials, my drive, determination, enthusiasm, skill and passion selflessness and willingness to share knowledge with the masses is truly one of a kind but the thing I have learnt most of all on my journey is humility
Rebecca Theodore: Yeah. And what final message would you like to give to inspiring speakers and coaches who want to follow in your footsteps?
Precious Williams: Right. I have just two messages. Always remember that fortune favors the brave and never be afraid to ask for what you want.
